2024 ONSW Awards

ONSW logo 2024 President's Junior Award and 50 years Honours

Orienteering NSW presents several special awards at the end of each year with the 2024 President's Junior Award being awarded to Newcastle's Oskar Mella. Oskar's recent contributions and achievements include course planner for the 2024 Australian Schools Orienteering Championship Sprint Distance, selection in the Australian 2024 Junior World Championships Team and organising one of the 2024 Xmas 5-Days events. 

At the other end of the age spectrum, several Club members were honoured by ONSW for 50 years of participation in the sport of orienteering with Jim Lee, Denis Lyons, Robert Preston, Gayle Quantock and Robert Vincent all reaching the significant milestone.
